Heather moved to London at the end of the 80s. A demo copy of the song "New Love" finally gave Heather an opportunity to do a few small performances in London. One of them was at The British Academy of Songwriters and resulted in a first album 'These Walls' which contained 'New Love' and three other songs and later became a rare and valuable item. Anyway, Heather did not have many success with it then. It contained the single 'Spirit in you' which was released in April. During that time Heather changed her family name Frith into her stage name, Nova.
