Necrophobia is a Dutch cult-horror on its best.

The young developer Mark Embrechts loose his wife Rebecca by a car accident and from that moment he is being haunted by nightmares about Rebecca.

During a visit to her grave he meets the mysterious Colette who attracts him on a strange way. Colette suffers from a trauma because of the dead of her lover. Her psychiatrist, Dr. Bernhardt, tries to help her with an orthodox therapy to confront her with her fears. The bizarre rituals of the treatment have a disastrous effect on her. It change Collette in a chainsaw murder.
